The extravagant wedding celebrations of Meera Shah from London and Prashant Manek from UAE were held around the same time last year at Ibiza, the world’s most sought-after beach destination!
Guests were welcomed at the Ibiza airport and brought with private transport to their 5-star accommodation.
Everything chosen was unique and top-of-the-line; right from 5-star Hotel properties such as ME and Insotel Fenicia for guest accommodation to iconic Ibiza venues such as LIO & HEART. Over 35 top chefs were flown to display their magic, at each of the events. Here’s what took place:
THE LOVELY HIGH TEA
In the afternoon, guests enjoyed a high tea organized on the famous rooftop restaurant of the ME hotel with a 360º view over the secluded bay of the sophisticated beachside retreat.
THE GLAM SANGEET
The same evening, a ‘Sangeet’ and an unforgettable show night took place in world famous club, LIO.
THE FABULOUS GARDEN WEDDING
The wedding commenced with a ‘Baraat’ assembly at the entrance of the ME hotel. Guests assembled for the wedding rituals, which took place at the hotel’s stunning garden and lawns, against the gorgeous backdrop of the Ibiza sunset!
A SPECTACULAR FEAST FOR THE RECEPTION
The wedding was followed by a black-tie wedding reception in the evening at HEART. The extraordinary establishment offers innovative cuisines from culinary pioneers- Ferràn and Albert Adrià; and the founder of the world-famous Cirque du Soleil – Guy Laliberté!
On the last day, guests were treated to an extended gourmet brunch at the Salt and Sea restaurant in the ME hotel.
ADITYA MOTWANE SPEAKS ON DESTINATION IBIZA & VENDOR SUPPORT
Ibiza is one of the Balearic Islands, an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. It is better known for the vibrant nightlife in Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni. Interestingly, Ibiza also has quiet villages, yoga retreats, and beaches, from Platja d’en Bossa, lined with hotels, bars and shops, to quieter sandy coves backed by pine-clad hills found all around the coast.
According to MEW, the couple instantly fell in love with the magical and spiritual energy of Ibiza!
