“The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They are in each other all along.” -Rumi
The above quote stands true for décor designer turned bride Pooja Doshi’s love story. After meeting at an arranged setup, the bride slowly fell in love with her groom as she realized he was the Prince Charming she was always looking for.
Despite never imagining moving base from New Delhi, upon meet the man of her dreams, Pooja decided to move with him- that’s when she knew it was true love! After three months of knowing each other, the official proposal took place at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur and it was a romantic moment that included all things beautiful.
The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai was chosen as the official destination for the big day and the couple braced themselves for the arrival of 800 guests.
The festivities began with the sangeet where Bollywood giant Varun Dhawan delivered an awe-inspiring performance. Elusive Dreams, responsible for the décor, arranged for the organization of purple flowers for the sangeet, at the special request of the groom.
In accordance with the sangeet, the big itself saw a continuation of the floral theme with the arrangement of peach flowers, as requested by the groom to surprise the bride. The wedding décor included all things peach with striking highlights of gold. The event itself took place within The Ballroom at the Taj Mahal Palace, with stunning gold pillars in the background. Ornate hydrangeas elegantly framed the ceiling of the entrance as the bride was received upon a special stage created just for the jai mala.
Ah, to look back at the times where love was in the air and it was safe to breathe it in! SWOON!
