The Rahul Gupta and Megha Gupta’s wedding exuded nothing less than world-class opulence. While having a beach wedding for any couple is nothing short of fairy tale weaved alive, but having a beach wedding at The Beach Pavillion, Al-Bustan Palace, a Ritz Carlton Hotel was simply elegance and grace combined with larger-than-life aura.
It all started with the groom and bride’s friends flying down from various corners of the globe to be a part of this lavish 3-day affair.
The Beach Pavilion at Al Bustan Palace was the host to the most awaited sundowner beach party on Day 1, especially after the Mata ki Chowki and Moulin Rouge-Style cocktail in Delhi!
The beach party was a sun-downer starting 7 pm onwards illuminating a lovely dreamcatcher theme. Everyone (including ‘young’sters of all ages) let their hair down with DJ Shadow from Dubai and Bombay Rockers playing the foot-tapping music. The gala affair was kick-started with guests have long pending rendezvous amongst the backdrop of laser light show and fire jugglers amidst the most reverberating energy.
The second day witnessed a pool-party Mehendi lunch with Sophie Chaudhary’s melodious renditions of some of the best of Bollywood songs was a brilliant start to the day.
After the Bride’s mehendi was complete, the evening was meant to dance to the tunes of Sangeet night with an IIFA theme aboard! Here, dance performances by the parents, friends and other family members were the highlight. The choreography by Kunal was nothing short of a movie sequence. The celebration also witnessed the electrifying performance of Salim Suleman – who played the most soulful music ever!
The wedding ceremony was conducted at the pool side, at sunset. The background of the wedding night boasted of the full regal palace background, where the palm trees were bathing in electric yellow ball lights.
Here, the varmalas were exchanged in the middle of the pool over a specially crafted platform designed by RashiNidhi Events. The pool lit up with tiny lights, looked like a million stars had been sprinkled across the shore, to make the perfect setting for the feras. It was a surreal night featuring beautiful décor and perfect execution by the Ritz Carlton – Al Bustan Palace team.
