WedEd is an initiative by The Wedding School, Mumbai, and Touchwood Wedding School, Delhi to mentor and guide those in the pursuit of the next new. This initiative offers young minds insights about weddings as a career and various other opportunities within the wedding industry. Started by founders of two wedding schools at the top of their game, Mareesha Parikh from The Wedding School and Vijay Arora from Touchwood Wedding School, WedEd’s initiative are truly revolutionary during these unprecedented times. The Wedding School is a Mumbai-based institute which offers certified diploma courses in wedding planning and management. Focused on educating and training budding entrepreneurs, freelancers, and new aspirants within the wedding industry, the school harbors a creative ethos in their atmosphere. Similarly, Touchwood Wedding School which is all set to be launched in July 2020, forwards a similar mindset. Launched by The Touchwood Group, the firm, after two productive and fulfilling decades in the industry, wanted to leave their mark and embark upon an educational and creative journey. They plan to do so by teaching young talent about the industry and giving them a direction to head in. With bucket-loads of exposure and experience in the wedding industry to look forward to, the initiative is unprecedented and unique in its approach.
The fourth episode was brought forth on the 14th of April and was called OCEAN’S 11. The panelists included:

With a strong focus on education, the initiative drives instilling knowledge into young mind and making the best of the lockdown. Knowledge shapes our personalities and perfects our behavior, and this aspect is being harnessed by the web series.
Episode 4 was focused around using the lockdown to help develop team members and give them professional training through which companies benefit when the final deliverables are produced. The three panelists came from different schools of thought and having gone through several trainings of their own, they were able to provide several valuable insights. The wedding fraternity in India collectively appreciated their insights and acknowledged that they learnt a lot that would be implementable within their own teams in order to have more professional and powerful working atmospheres and attitudes.
Knowledge Flix by WedEd is a ten-episode series that will culminate on the 30th of April. Episode 6- SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST- launches on the 18th of April.
