Given YOLO Entertainment’s assiduous aim of creating magical and beautiful memories that last couples a lifetime, it was only a matter of time before there were invited back to the Umaid Bhawan Palace to curate an experience of perfection for yet another couple looking to get married and watch their wedding day dreams come true.
On the 12th and 13th of March 2020, Dubai NRIs- cricketer Chirag Suri and Anmol Punjabi tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony on the sprawling lawns of the Umaid Bhawan Palace. YOLO Entertainment ensured the two-day festivity was an amalgamation of royalty, luxury, and comfort. The family was very particular about every nuance- from décor, to the artists, props, planning, and only asked for perfection, and true to their word, brother-sister duo, Jueta and Pratik Hemdev from YOLO Entertainment delivered. Among the presence of the high-spirited guest list from Dubai, including the renowned cricketer Yuvraj Singh, from the English themed Mehendi to the majestic Sangeet celebration, this wedding was the epitome of regalia.
The festivities started with a Mehendi Lunch by the pool. The décor for the afternoon was English themed with a burst of lemon colours. The ambience was impeccable with thematic and elegant floral arrangements and furniture. All guests were welcomed by Ghoomar dancers leading to a floral wonderland pathway. The planners organized for the presence of the sensational Lisa Mishra, welcome the bride and groom to the tunes of the famous ‘La Vie En Rose’. The bride and her squad stood out during the Mehendi with a surprise Flashmob performance. DJ Lalit took over the afternoon with the audience grooving away till sunset.
The Sangeet followed, which was all things regal. It was organized at the Front Lawns of the Umaid Bhawan Palace. The guests were surrounded by Royal Rajasthani instrumental music adding to the splendour of the evening. The theme for the evening was light and fire which was brought to life with the magnificent stage filled with gleaming chandeliers, thematic installations, and exquisite furniture along with special performances by both the families. The Punjabi sensation, SukhE later added energy to the evening and ensured all the guests danced and celebrated the soon-to-be wedded couple.
Gearing up for an eventful day ahead, Anmol and Chirag engaged in pre-wedding functions accompanied by their close family on day 2. While Chirag had a wild Haldi ceremony, Anmol was a part of the gaiety of Gari Pooja with Ladha singers.
The Sehra Bandhi Lunch followed, which was held at the front lawns leading into the Baraat procession. The procession comprised of a DJ Truck with Singer SukhE singing LIVE with exuberant Baraatis.
The traditional Maharaja Maharani theme added to the grandeur of the wedding which was held at the Baradari Lawn. The bride was very particular about her fairytale entry with a long veil. Shank chanters, bugles and drummers lined up all the way till the Baradari for her entry. An extravaganza of colour bombs during the Varmala followed- a magnificent experience for the first time at the Umaid Bhawan Palace created by Azan Morani from Morani Fireworks. The Baradari was encompassed with red florals which made a picturesque set for the royal wedding. With perfect weather and pheras during sunset, it was a wedding to remember.
The newly wedded couple was celebrated at the Reception organised at the lawns behind the Baradari with the celebrity performer, Honey Singh. The night was truly a fantastic culmination of the royal wedding. The power-packed performance by Honey Singh set the mood and ambience of the venue leading into the after party that went on till the wee hours of the morning. The couple wowed everyone when they took to the stage for their first dance together and reminded everyone what a remarkable pair they make.
The two-day royal affair was beautifully captured by The Wedding Journals of India.Binny Dhadwal from ‘Drinq’ along with his team managed the bartending and ‘Mykos’ managed the Sheesha for the festivities.In addition, a 24-hour hospitality desk was set-up, a 12-hour hospitality lounge providing refreshments, a 12 hour salon facility by VLCC for the guests of this wedding. All hampers, gifts and in-room stationery were customized for each guest. We had guests residing in ITC and Umaid Bhawan Palace, multiple hotels for the crew, multiple flights and every guest was given a personal experience along the way.
